Pork and Stout Goulash



Ingredients

  • 450 g pork
  • 400 g onions
  • 350 ml dark beer
  • 500 ml vegetable broth
  • 150 g carrots
  • 100 g celeriac
  • 2 tbsp sweet paprika
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • laurel leaf
  • salt
  • pepper
  • sage
  • caraway seeds
  • olive oil for cooking

Preparation

Finely dice the onions, celeriac, and carrots. In a larger pot, add the pork that you cut into cubes and the vegetables and simmer until softened.

Once the vegetables have softened, add the spices, beer, and tomato paste.

After a few minutes, top up with the broth and let simmer for about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Serving

When the goulash is done, serve it with gnocchi.
