Ingredients
- 500 g dried figs
- 100 g ground almonds
- 300 g granulated sugar
- 2 – 3 tbsp rakia (fruit brandy) of choice
- orange zest and orange juice
Preparation
Chop the figs and almonds as finely as possible. Add sugar, brandy, orange zest, and juice. Mix all ingredients until well combined and shape the mixture into medallions. Bake the medallions in the oven at 120 – 130°C for 40 min.
Serving
Serve as desired.
